Murthy Remilla

Dr. Murthy Remilla is a senior scientist in ISRO currently working as Head, Project Management UR Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bangalore, currently working in Human Spaceflight Group for Gaganyaan Project.

He holds a Bachelors Degree in Engineering in Electronics & Communication and Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and received PhD from Department of Management studies, IISc, Bangalore in International Business Research in 2010.

He has been associated in the Programme development and coordination of Telemedicine and Tele-education services in India from 2001 and was heading TSI as Honorary Secretary, Telemedicine Society of India (TSI) from 2019-23. He was on the board of editors for the American Telemedicine Association’s Telemedicine and eHealth s and was the Co-editor of the Telemedicine Manual (2007) and Member of National Task Force on Telemedicine formed by Indian Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Having more than 45 national and international publications to his credit in Business Strategy, Marketing, Remote Sensing, Telemedicine and Societal applications of Space Technologies in various national and international journals/conferences.
